Thank you for joining our ‘Mindful Moving’ community… As our name suggests, we are about ‘moving mindfully’. Moving mindfully means understanding your own body and its connection to the mind and vice versa. Keeping fit and healthy isn’t spending hours in the gym ‘smashing’ and ‘sweating’ your way through movement. It is about understanding your body so you know when to push, and when you NEED to pull back! This is what we pride ourselves here and we hope to educate you to learn about your own mind to body connection.
Please read through the terms and conditions thoroughly before enrolling. When enrolling as a client of Mindful Movement (Live to move, Move to live, Love to move) at any of our physical studios or online services, you agree to the terms and conditions as laid out on the Mindful Movement (Live to move, Move to live, Love to move) website – www.www.mindfulmovementsydney.com.au.
General Terms and Conditions…
- A minimum of two people is required for a class to proceed. You will be contacted email if your chosen class has been cancelled.
- Mindful Movement (Live to move, Move to live, Love to move) reserves the right to cancel classes if necessary. In the case of a class being cancelled, Mindful Movement will provide another time for the class to be made up. Client has option to make up in another class if they deem suitable.
- No-shows and absences can be made up within the 10 week term timeframe, failure to do this will result in the forfeit of that session – please read our class cancellation policy for more details.
- Payment must be made within invoice due date. Payment can be made via bank transfer or Stripe (Credit Card – fees apply).
- The minimum commitment term for a weekly class/classes 10 weeks.
- Sessions will be recorded by teacher in charge of the class.
- Extra sessions taken during the tern that are outside of your class booking and not a make up class will be charged at same rate as per class on the invoice for current term.
- Seniors Discount… To be eligible for the seniors discount, you must provide seniors card on registration.
- Termination of enrolment with Mindful Movement (Live to move, Move to live, Love to move) is to be requested in writing.
Class Attendance…
- When attending your first class please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to familiarize yourself with the room and equipment as well as introduce yourself to the teacher.
- We ask that regular participants please arrive no later than 5 minutes before the start of the class to allow for a smooth start time.
- Late arrivals (more than 10 minutes after the class has started) may be denied entry.
- Late arrival. Out of consideration for yourself, the teacher and other clients, please don’t be late. Please be aware that if you are more than 5 minutes late you have missed an integral part of the class the Warm up. Warm up is there to bring awareness inwards and prepare the body for what is coming. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late the teacher can deny you entry at their discretion.
- Health screen. Mindful Movement reserves the right to restrict clients to a particular class type for health and safety reasons; Mindful Movement (Live to move, Move to live, Love to move) reserves the right to turn clients away if they do not have appropriate medical clearance.
- Fees. You acknowledge that Mindful Movement (Live to move, Move to live, Love to move) charges fees for its services, and Mindful Movement (Live to move, Move to live, Love to move) reserves the right to change its fees from time to time at its discretion. If Mindful Movement (Live to move, Move to live, Love to move) terminates your use of the services because you have breached these Terms and conditions, you may not be entitled to a refund of any unused portion of sessions or other fees.
- If we do not enforce our contract rights at any time it does not mean that we have waived those rights.

Fee Structure…
At Mindful Movement (Live to move, Move to live, Love to move), we have a per-term fee structure, which means that our charges are fixed for each term. This system is designed to provide consistency and predictability for both our staff and our clients. To ensure fairness and simplicity for everyone, our policy does not reduce, refund or credit fees for public holidays. illnesses or other absences. We do however offer make-up classes for any missed sessions, whether due to public holidays, illnesses, or other absences. This policy provides flexibility and ensures that clients do not miss out on their moving opportunities. Make-up classes can be arranged through email.
Term Fees, Casual/Single session, Holiday sessions, Private sessions, Trial session.
- Term Fees are emailed prior to the new term starting and are due up front and must be paid within 14 days of receiving your invoice by the start of term. Fees are valid for 10 weeks (10 week course) or the duration of the term (generally public school terms). All fees are non refundable and non transferable. Sessions can be extended due to injury, with a medical certificate. Extensions due to medical reasons must be requested before the expiry date.
- Casual/Single sessions are privately organised with The Director of Mindful Movement (Live to move, Move to live, Love to move) at their discretion. Sessions will be added up at the end of each term and invoiced accordingly. Payment must be made within a week of invoice date.
- Holiday sessions will be planned for each term break at the discretion of the Director of Mindful Movement (Live to move, Move to live, Love to move). If member decides to participate in an holiday class, proper notification will be required and nominated sessions will be paid for upfront, non refundable and non transferable. Sessions can be extended due to injury, with a medical certificate. Extensions due to medical reasons must be requested before the expiry date.-
- Private Sessions are organised Privately with The Director of Mindful Movement (Live to move, Move to live, Love to move). Private sessions consist of initial Movement assessment conducted by the Director of Mindful Movement (Live to move, Move to live, Love to move) or private tuition with any chosen teacher. Private sessions are paid for up front, and non refundable and non transferable. Sessions can be extended due to injury, with a medical certificate. Extensions due to medical reasons must be requested before the expiry date.
- Trial Session can be taken if agreed upon after a phone consultation with the Director of Mindful Movement (Live to move, Move to live, Love to move). The client needs to present sufficient knowledge of personal mind to body connection and have experience with Pilates based movement. Trial session can also be taken after an ‘Initial Movement Assessment’ with the Director of Mindful Movement (Live to move, Move to live, Love to move). Trial sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable. Sessions can be extended due to injury, with a medical certificate. Extensions due to medical reasons must be requested before the expiry date.
- Sessions are not transferrable to another individual. They cannot be used by another person. If someone other than the person booked into the class arrives to use the session, they will be asked to create an account and purchase their own sessions.
- Cancellation of enrolment after Week 1 of any term is non-refundable if a client withdraws from classes.
- Mindful Movement (Live to move, Move to live, Love to move) will commence debt recovery through a Debt Collection Agency where an invoice is not paid by the end of the term and no conversation has been entered into. Agency costs will be added to your account.
Personal Agreement/waiver
I agree that Mindful Movement (Live to move, Move to live, Love to move) is in no way responsible for the safekeeping of my personal belongings while I attend class. I understand that classes may be physically strenuous, and I voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury, property loss or death. I agree that neither I, my heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against Mindful Movement (Live to move, Move to live, Love to move) or its members for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. Mindful Movement (Live to move, Move to live, Love to move) does not assume responsibility for any lost or stolen personal property. If you do become the victim of a theft, immediately report it to a Mindful Movement (Live to move, Move to live, Love to move) staff member. By booking into a class you automatically agree to the above Terms and Conditions.
